gb Pockit+ All City Stroller

Worth It If…
$217.14 at Amazon

$217.14 at Amazon — Night Blue record, Oct 21, 2026; Velvet Black tracks at $219.39; list figures in the record run $279–$330, and tracked dips below $180 recur

The smallest measured fold in BabyGearLab’s programme — 21.3 x 13 x 8 in at 13.1 lbs, 73/100, Most Compact — that is, in the lab’s words, “otherwise largely average”: Maneuverability 5.5, Kid Comfort 6.2, two-hand everything, and cabin carriage that is size-qualified, never promised.

The pitch

carry-on compliant, folds to a handbag in seconds, travel-system ready — the record-breaking Pockit fold with a recline, a full UPF 50+ canopy and front-wheel suspension added

The catch

cabin carriage is size-qualified, never promised — the crew and the day decide; the seat starts at 6 months (newborn use is a Cybex car seat on the included adapters); and the fold is bought with frame flex, a shallow semi-recline seat and two-hand everything

FSA/HSA

Not eligible — a stroller is general childcare equipment, not a medical expense

What it is

An ultra-compact travel stroller (Night Blue, model 619000535) built around a two-step, two-hand origami fold: brand-spec 5.7 kg, folded 48 × 32 × 20 cm; BabyGearLab measured 13.1 lbs and 21.3″ × 13″ × 8″ (2,215 cu in) — the smallest folded volume in its programme by 1,000+ cubic inches. For children 6 months to 22 kg in the listing’s own copy (a 55-lb figure circulates in US records — see the full check’s NOT verified). Sling-style seat with a stepless strap recline, short two-position leg rest, UPF 50+ canopy (no window), single EVA-foam wheels with front-wheel suspension, two separate handlebars, a single rocker brake pedal, a 5-point harness the lab praises, and a small 11-lb basket. It self-stands when folded and latched, arrives fully assembled, and takes Cybex infant car seats on the adapters included in the box. No carry bag is included. NOT the All-Terrain (double wheels), NOT the Air, NOT the original 2014 Pockit.

Claims vs. reality

  • “Carry-on compliant, folds to a handbag”: the fold verifies — inside the standard 22″ × 14″ × 9″ carry-on sizer on every axis in both the brand’s and the lab’s measurements. But no airline approves a model: published policies turn on dimensions, available space and crew discretion, and even a size-compliant stroller is never guaranteed cabin space (Strolleria’s roundup, in terms). Claims that an airline “names” the Pockit or that the FAA certified it surfaced only in affiliate blogs and are credited at zero. Fly it with a gate-check tag requested anyway. And “handbag” is generous: 13.1 lbs, “as much room as a large rucksack” (MadeForMums).
  • The world-record halo: the Guinness record (2014; folded 300 × 180 × 350 mm, 4.3 kg, no recline, no car-seat use) belongs to the original Pockit. The All City is larger and heavier on every axis — because it adds the recline, canopy, suspension and adapters the record holder didn’t have. Its own defensible claim is the lab’s: smallest measured fold on sale in the programme.
  • Travel-system photos vs. the 6-month minimum: the seat starts at 6 months and never lies flat. Newborn use is exactly one configuration — a Cybex/GB infant seat on the included adapters (the lab’s spec table records Cybex as the included compatibility). Other brands are verify-before-you-fly, and one retailer’s structured field renders the age as “Newborn to 6 months” — the precise inverse of the envelope, flagged in the full check.
  • “Spacious shopping basket”: the listing’s word; the lab’s hands found a small bin that fits a medium bag, with about a third semi-blocked by the frame and rear-only access. The 11-lb rating outruns the volume. Budget a backpack for the day kit.
  • The push, the seat, the canopy: BabyGearLab 73/100, Most Compact — Transport 8.4, Ease of Use 7.8, Quality 7.0, Maneuverability 5.5, Kid Comfort 6.2 — bottom line: “a super small folded stroller that is otherwise largely average.” The fold’s hinge points make the frame flex at every point; treadless foam wheels struggle at thresholds and on grass; the shallow seat’s recline is neither lie-flat nor fully upright (MadeForMums’ tester: her 13-month-old looked slumped after 30 minutes); the canopy covers overhead sun only and wobbles in a gust. Credit: Parenthood Adventures’ long-term file finds the All City the sturdiest Pockit — aluminium construction, reinforced sealed canopy, better suspension.

🛡 Safety & recalls

No CPSC recall for the gb Pockit, Pockit+, Pockit+ All City or All-Terrain was found (checked Oct 23, 2026). Name-confusion warning: the gb recall in this space is the Qbit — about 29,400 Qbit strollers recalled in Dec 2016 (2015–16 manufacture) for a folding-hinge gap that could pinch and cut a caregiver’s hand and for folding unexpectedly in use (71 complaints; a broken wrist and elbow; four stitched cuts; free replacement remedy). The Qbit is a different, larger stroller; no Pockit was in it. Its hazard class is still the discipline for any origami fold: fingers clear of the hinges, and confirm the fold latch is fully engaged before a child sits — the lab notes the latch is stiff when new, and stiff is not latched. US strollers sit under the mandatory 16 CFR 1227 / ASTM F833 standard; a brand conformity document for this model did not surface (see the full check). Standing rules: harness every ride; set the brake and confirm it holds (one tester had it stick); respect the 11-lb basket and don’t hang bags off a 13-lb frame’s handles; lift at curbs rather than forcing the flexing frame. Information only, not medical advice.

Real reviews

Pools kept separate, never added. Amazon (Night Blue ASIN B07RPCTVWP, via pricehistory.app’s record for the listing): 9.2/10 across 1,725 — an aggregator rendering, carried as such. Best Buy Canada: 4/5 across 1 — negligible. No first-party Target/Walmart pool for the All City exists (Target’s Pockit shelves are the All-Terrain and Air — different products). The evidence base is the hands-on record: BabyGearLab (73/100, above), MadeForMums (joyful indoor/city push; two-hand fold; flimsy wobbling canopy; slumped seat on longer walks; brake occasionally stuck; “doesn’t feel long-lasting”), Parenthood Adventures (the sturdiest Pockit, its author’s pick of the line), LittleBabyGear (two-hand everything vs. the Qbit+’s one-hand fold), and Strollberry’s owner file (4/5 long-term: handbag fold praised; small hood, narrow wheels, drifting harness sliders). Praise: the fold, the carry, self-standing storage, nimble city handling, multi-kid travel service. Complaints, in order: (1) frame flex / rickety feel; (2) the seat — shallow, semi-recline, slumping; (3) the canopy; (4) two-hand, two-handle everything; (5) the basket; (6) wheels off pavement; (7) small singles — a sticking brake, drifting harness sliders, a stiff new latch.

Price & FSA/HSA

$217.14 at Amazon (Night Blue tracked record, Oct 21, 2026); Velvet Black tracks at $219.39. List is a conflict in the record — $330 (BabyGearLab), $279.12 (tracker MRP), $299–$329 (era records) — but on any of them $217 is honestly under list, and the tracker’s 2,670-day history (average $257.81) shows recurring dips to $179.99 and a low of $167.97: if you’re not flying soon, waiting is a priced strategy. Running costs: a travel bag is not included (secondary records price the gb bag at $30–$40, unverified at a first-party shelf); non-Cybex adapters, where they exist, are separate. Its siblings undercut it for less build — All-Terrain $199.99 and Air $189.99 at Target. FSA/HSA: not eligible — general childcare equipment.

Worth It If… the brief is travel for a 6-month-plus baby on pavement — the smallest measured fold in BabyGearLab’s programme at 13.1 lbs — and you accept that everything else about it is, in the lab’s words, “otherwise largely average.”
