The One in Black — the brand page for this variant reads Out of Stock / Final Sale, so stock is the first check

Colugo The One Stroller, Black
The feature-complete Colugo — car seat compatible from birth, all-wheel suspension, 20-lb basket, rain cover, bumper bar and cup holder included — at a clearance $179 brand / $199.99 Amazon-record price, but the Black variant is Out of Stock / Final Sale at the brand, its Amazon pool is a polarized 3.2/5 across 37 ratings, and its weight is listed as 16 lbs by the brand and 18 lbs by Amazon and Target.
See current price ↗The pitch
“the only stroller you need” — a from-birth, car seat compatible everyday stroller with a one-handed two-second fold, all-wheel suspension and a 20-lb basket at a claimed 16 lbs
The catch
this Black variant is Out of Stock / Final Sale on the brand site; car seat adapters are about $50 extra, the Amazon review pool is a polarized 3.2/5, and owners report a low handlebar and a canopy that crowds an upright toddler
FSA/HSA
not eligible — a standard stroller is a general parenting purchase, not medical care
What it is
Colugo’s “only stroller you need” — a lightweight everyday stroller with full-size ambitions (Target titles it “Single Full-Size”; Amazon’s listing type is “Standard Stroller”). Brand specs: 16 lbs, folded 10″ × 19″ × 24″, unfolded 32″ × 19″ × 41″, from birth to 55 lbs, and a 20-lb basket — double the Compact+. A one-handed two-second fold with Fold Assist, and the car seat adapters fold with the stroller. It is car seat compatible with Clek Liing, Maxi-Cosi Mico, Cybex Aton and Nuna Pipa infant seats via adapters sold separately. Plus all-wheel suspension, puncture-proof tires, multi-position mechanical recline, adjustable calf support, an extendable UPF 50+ canopy, a magnetic buckle, a machine-washable comfort layer and a behind-seat zippered pouch. Included: stroller, rain cover, bumper bar and cup holder. Brand states JPMA certified. It is a compact-folding full-feature stroller — the 24″ fold means Colugo does not claim overhead-bin fit for it, and there is no bassinet.
Claims vs. reality
“From birth” is true only through a car seat on an adapter you buy separately. The brand FAQ says to use a compatible infant car seat until the child sits up unaided (usually around 6 months), then graduate to the stroller seat — the seat itself claims no flat newborn recline, and the Universal Car Seat Adapters retail at about $50 new. Only the four named seat families fit; Graco, Chicco, UPPAbaby and Britax are not on the list. Availability is the claim that fails today: this Black variant’s brand page reads Out of Stock with a FINAL SALE badge, listed in the brand’s Clearance collection; Target reads OutOfStock in every color, while the Amazon record shows InStock at $199.99 — Colugo has announced no discontinuation, so this is a clearance wind-down signal, not a confirmed end of life, but the brand-direct route is closed. The $395 compare-at was a real 2023 list price, rarely the street price: 1,036 days of tracking for this ASIN show a $271.11 average and a $174.99 low, so $179–$199.99 is a genuine clearance discount of roughly $70–$125 off the usual $243–$325 band — not 55% off normal. Weight does not reconcile: brand 16 lbs, Amazon item weight 18 lbs (frame weight 14 lbs), Target “18 lbs” in its title — plan on carrying 16–18 lbs.
Safety & recalls
No CPSC recall found for Colugo or The One on Oct 27, 2026 — stated as an absence from CPSC/SaferProducts searches. US strollers are governed by the mandatory ASTM F833 standard (16 CFR 1227); the brand page states JPMA Certified with third-party testing to US and Canadian regulations, and the Amazon listing data carries the same JPMA specification. Owner-record flags, not regulator findings: the magnetic buckle drew mixed reports — easy for some, hard to fasten on a reluctant toddler for others — so test it in person, and the seat is forward-facing only in retailer classifications. The clearance/final-sale status is itself a practical flag: confirm warranty handling and parts support before relying on it as a multi-year stroller.
Real reviews — what owners say
Pools kept separate, and they disagree — this is a polarized product. Amazon, pinned ASIN B0CNBLVJWD via pricehistory.app: 6.4/10 based on 37 reviews; the Ubuy mirror of the same listing spells it out as 3.2/5 across 37 ratings — 31% five-star and 24% one-star. Brand site: 8 reviews (count only, from the Clearance listing). Target, shared across colors: 3.7/5 across 3 ratings / 2 reviews, whose one detailed review is specific and scathing — at 5′7″ the handlebar is “so low,” the filled basket is blocked by a bar, and with a 15-month-old upright the canopy was “practically resting on her face.” Walmart records: 4.8/5 across 13 reviews. Editorial summaries of the Amazon pool praise the sleek look, light carry, smooth maneuverability, magnetic chest clip, sturdiness to 55 lbs and the included accessories, and repeat the same complaints: fiddly magnetic buckle, criticized canopy, wheels that could be better, handlebar height for taller users, and some owners finding a revised model less sturdy than the previous version. Owners who fit the handle height and get a good unit love the package; the failure modes are fit and a one-in-four one-star tail.
Price & FSA/HSA
Brand: $179.00 (compare-at $395.00) — out of stock, final sale. The Amazon record for ASIN B0CNBLVJWD shows $199.99 (Oct 27, 2026 record; long-run average $271.11, low $174.99 in April 2026). Target: $325.00, out of stock; Walmart records: $243.75–$325.00. The one required running cost is the car seat adapter at about $50 new — the from-birth price is really about $230–$250 all-in, which still undercuts most travel-system math if the unit in hand is a good one, the handle height fits, and the seller takes returns. Buy through a returnable channel, not a final-sale one, until the polarized review pool is the only risk left. FSA/HSA: not eligible.
On paper this is the most complete $179–$200 Colugo: car seat compatible from birth, all-wheel suspension and a 20-lb basket — twice the Compact+ — but the brand page for this Black variant reads Out of Stock and FINAL SALE in the clearance collection, its Amazon pool is a polarized 3.2/5 across 37 ratings, and the weight is listed at 16 lbs by the brand and 18 lbs by Amazon and Target. It is only a buy if you find it actually in stock from a seller who takes returns, the handle height fits the pusher, and you budget about $50 for the car seat adapter sold separately. Worth It If…
