Claim vs. reality
“Two car seats click right in” and a “one-hand fold” — as they appear in the listing
The two-car-seat claim is real, and it’s the product’s whole reason to exist: two Chicco KeyFit infant car seats click in with no adapters — or two stroller seats, or one of each. The seats are not equal, though: only the rear seat reclines flat; the front seat doesn’t fully recline and has the smaller canopy and legroom (BabyGearLab) — fine for siblings of different ages, a fight-starter for twins as they grow. And the “one-hand fold” is generous: owners note the front canopy must come off to fold, and the folded package is 45.5″ long — it eats a whole trunk.
Safety & recalls
- No CPSC recall found for the Cortina Together stroller itself (checked October 15, 2026)
- The only “Cortina” recall on record is unrelated: a 2008 NHTSA recall of KeyFit car-seat bases sold with Cortina travel systems — a different product, from a different decade. Don’t let a search result scare you off (or sell you) the wrong thing
The complaint pattern
- The dominant complaint across Target and Chicco reviews, Reddit, and BabyGearLab is steering: 34 lbs of stroller plus two growing kids, on plastic wheels with a flexy frame, gets hard to push and turn — worst on grass and uneven ground — and it intensifies as the kids gain weight, exactly when you need it most
- Also: the basket is hard to reach with a car seat clicked into the rear, squeaky wheels, and the folded stroller takes the whole trunk
- Owners who love it cite the slim tandem profile (it fits standard doors), the low price for a double, the flexible seat/car-seat configurations, and the flat rear recline doubling as a bassinet

Worth it if you already own — or are buying — Chicco KeyFit car seats and want the most affordable legit way to carry two kids, mostly on smooth floors and sidewalks. Not worth it if you’ll haul it in and out of a trunk daily, push two bigger toddlers outdoors, or need two equal, nap-ready seats.
